Unique manually-distressed floors
Royal line includes manually-distressed floorboards, emphasizing the noble beauty of oak rings. The most advanced wood distressing techniques are used in the complex production process. The floorboards from Royal collection are chlorinated and burnt, which does not only provide them with high durability and a characteristic appearance, but also determines their unique features.
Distressed floors
If you need unique wooden floor with an original appearance, hand-distressed boards from the exclusive Royal collection are a great choice.
Thanks to the use of a unique production process, they retain their target color from the very first day, and their hardness and resistance means that we do not have to worry about dents or stains. Characteristic, brushed structure of Royal floorboards and the four-sided v-grout emphasize the distinctive surface of high-quality oak wood, while reducing the visibility of crevices formed over time due to the natural “work” processes of the wood.
Royal collection is a unique beauty that can be enjoyed for years. Royal collection – persistent color from the very first day.
The natural beauty of an oak floor
Burning of the oak floors from Royal collection (the boards burning process is carried out at the temperature of up to 800 °C) provides the basis for their color, which, unlike other distressed wooden floors, is persistent and does not change over the months.
The purpose of the chlorination process is similar, as it kills the tannins contained in the boards. Thanks to this, the color of the board is persistent and the floor does not darken. It is very important – when choosing a distressed oak floor, we want its shade to match our dream interior from the first days after the installation.
Meanwhile, many wooden boards, distressed with the use of reaction varnish and other chemical methods, achieve their target shade only after a few months after the installation. This is due to the fact that the chemical reactions used during their production take time, which makes such a floor change its color even by nine months until it becomes a permanent shade.
Exceptional durability thanks to the highest standards of finishing
The finishing process of the boards from Royal collection is no less important for the final aesthetic effect and their durability. Royal wooden floors, made of the highest quality oak wood, are oiled with the use of high-quality hard wax oil enriched with silicon, which is responsible for their high durability.
Thanks to the use of silicon, wooden floors from Royal line wear off much longer and get stained more slowly. Such hardened floors are perfect even in intensively used rooms. At the same time, maintaining resistance to scratches and damages for much longer than boards protected with oil-waxes.
The use of a four-sided chamfer (the so-called v-grout) provides Royal floorboards with an aesthetic appearance over the years. Thanks to the four-sided chamfering, naturally occurring crevices, which are the result of wood work, are much less visible, and the wooden floor retains its natural beauty for a long time.
